Birmingham Artists rented a window beginning in October 2003, ending in October 05, in the town centre of Birmingham, off the High Street for the purpose of exhibitions and projects.

Open Studios 2004

"Classworks" is a project that provides workshops run by professional artists in local schools.

Angelo Bordonari originally conceived ‘Repertorio’ as a cultural exchange between artists from Italy and the UK culminating in shows in both countries. The final project involved 12 artists from the Lombardi region of Italy and 11 from the West Midlands, UK.

The long awaited exhibition exploring Birmingham Central Library, its rich local history archives and the individuals who populate Birmingham’s most heavily used public building.

Large-scale members’ shows have always been popular with the public and members. They are a great showcase for artists and allow the public to view a diverse and exciting mix of work from the region, work that the local public may not otherwise be able to view in the region. They are also an excellent way for Birmingham Artists to advertise and promote itself and increase its membership.

Birmingham Artists presents art in which a range of approaches and media reflects the diversity of current art practice in the West Midlands. An exciting survey of contemporary art in the city, that clearly proves that 'Birmingham Works'...

The closing night of Birmingham Art Trust's two week event Birmingham Works (1) featured an evening of works diffused by BEAST in a disused car factory in Digbeth. This evening of contemporary sound art was accompanied by ephemeral installations by Ana Rutter and David Osbaldestin.

The annual Open Studios event, when studio holders open their studios to the public across a weekend took place in autumn.
